Jesus is the same, yesterday, today, and forever, and He still loves us. The devil's hate and man's hate cannot overcome Jesus' love and power. Jesus does not say that we have to hate some people in order to love others. In fact, Jesus says that we should love our enemies. Yes - we should forgive and love everyone because also needed to be forgiven and loved at some times in the past. We should not mistreat our acquaintances or destroy our enemies.
